Interview:

Music is a very, very powerful tool that can sometimes unknowingly speak to our subconscious. It has the ability to evoke certain feelings, memories. It can be uplifting. It can make you feel invincible. It can put a smile on your face, and it can definitely make love and forgiveness a part of the listeners’ life.

I’ve found that you can really convey a specific, good, and positive message in a song, but it carries more substance when the medium, the artist, the creator of the song are one with the message he or she sings about.

Art and music are so powerful! They have been called the universal language, meaning everyone can speak and understand it, and it communicates to every single soul on the earth. When you listen to a lot of what’s played on radio you’ve got to ask, “What are we passing down to the next generation? What kind of world are we trying to shape?”

Music has become full-time for me, and I’m very fortunate that it has. This journey has transformed my life, values, and worldview in so many ways. To put it simply in my own words, “Use the gift for good.” We all have something to give, but it’s up to you to choose why you give it.

“This journey has transformed my life, values, and worldview in so many ways.”
