No More.nl is the ultimate tribute to Faith No More formed from
a collective based in The Netherlands. This unique band are loyal to the
energetic and dynamic live shows that Faith No More toured with worldwide.
Fake No More is Steven Tolkamp [Vocalist], Maurice Lohschelder [Guitar],
Marius Seidel [Bass], Peter Stevens [Keyboards], and Marlon Wolterink
[Drums]. Fake No More's vocalist Steven Tolkamp plays a perfect Mike Patton
through his precise vocals that really live up to his reputation as being
"The Dutch Mike Patton". Fake No More have also performed live
on Dutch National Radio 3FM on several occasions, during Marisa's Nachtmiss
and Giel Beelen's radio show, one of the most famous DJs in The Netherlands. Fake No More's award-winning performance at The Clash Of The Cover Bands finale featured a forty-five minute set tributing the multiple moods of Faith No More. Fake No More's sensational performance accurately showcased style diversity with energetic stage presence. Their talented musicianship, live interaction, and unique style convinced jury and audience members that Fake No More were the supreme band from this special showcase. During June 2005, Fake No More band manager contacted Mike Patton regarding a booking enquiry for supporting his avant-metal project Fantômas at Club 013 in Tilburg, Holland. Mike Patton politely declined this opportunity for Fake No More to share a stage with Fantômas stating that his own past with Faith No More is a closed book. In true Faith No More style, Fake No More perform all the hits and offer a collection of cover songs that are regularly performed during certain sections of their live setlists. For example, "Dancing Queen" (ABBA) is sometimes sung at the end of "Everything's Ruined", "Rich Girl" (Gwen Stefani & Eve) or "I Believe I Can Fly" (R. Kelly) performed during the piano outro of "Epic", "Inside My Head" by Dutch group Di-Rect, and Junior Senior's "Move Your Feet" performed during the drum intro to "Midlife Crisis", and they even feature the first part of Metallica's "Sad But True" before playing Faith No More's "Evidence". Fake No More have also been know to include Robbie Williams' "Surpreme" and Tomahawk's "God Hates A Coward" into their performances. Fake No More are managed by John Van Den Borne and can be contacted for band bookings. For general enquiries, please contact their vocalist Steven Tolkamp. |
