Interview:

I believe music was created to glorify God and to worship Him. I know it can please Him, and that is what we desire to do with our music. A lot of our songs are written more directly to God in that vertical worship sense, and I believe that is very important. Our God deserves to be worshipped. We also write about a lot of different things in life from a Christian perspective. In all our songs we desire to please God and worship Him in the way that we want everything we do to be an act of worship. I think music can and should have a lot of spiritual significance. Unfortunately, not everyone that creates music does so to glorify God or please Him with what they are doing. A lot of the time, things people write can be just the opposite. I definitely think it is important to be careful what we entertain ourselves with as well. As Christians, we want to glorify God in anything and everything we do, whether it is our music, what we watch, or the way we show love to people. So I think there is spiritual significance to everything we do in life.
