Interview:

Having been blessed with the opportunity to provide live spiritual music to thousands since the early 1990’s, I would love to share my thoughts on the spiritual significance of music. I like to use the door analogy. When a minister speaks, or a teacher teaches, or a student reads, all of the information they are receiving comes in through the “front” door, or the brain. Therefore, the information that is received, pure as it may be, goes through a “filter” which colors the information. The clearer a person is, the better the filter, but the process is the same nonetheless. Music comes through the “back” door. Music enters into the body viscerally, into the feeling realm through the heart, and therefore, bypasses the filter of the brain. Therefore, music has a powerful impact that goes well beyond what the brain can comprehend. The information received through music is less colored and therefore has a closer connection to source energy. Some music is inspired. Inspired music comes through the individual directly from the invisible realm and it carries pure source energy with it because that is where it originated. That source energy has the capacity to heal, enlighten, and liberate because it carries a very high vibrational rate. So the spiritual significance of music to me is that music can be pure source energy, or God in expression. This source energy can be received and experienced without filtration for healing, enlightenment, and liberation.
