Interview:

What has not been said about the power and impact of art and music in our lives? We all know those rapturous feelings when finding a great song, painting, or poem. Our conscious mind merges with the heart and lets the emotional message come into focus. We feel complete with ourselves in these moments.

Art is our essence, manifested from the dust of the planets by ordinary people. For this, mankind has much to be grateful for. The simple act of creating or performing is as precious a gift as can exist. It allows us to reveal our truth, wisdom, and joy to others. Creation is a personal act of freedom.

The smallest and seemingly most insignificant of creative efforts are no less valuable to humanity than the works of the great masters. When our creative urges are acted upon, a center of giving and receiving is created. It is this gift that moves us and sometimes others to greater awareness and fulfilment. Whether you are playing to a full or empty house, the power of creation can flow and give us new views of ourselves.

It is not at all about the quality of the art created, but more about the giving and the receiving of the created gift. This is the elixir that makes moments in life unique and special. The good that creativity does in the world is immeasurable. Forever igniting the passions and dreams that move us forward in our evolution.

Music and the arts have always been respected as a way to communicate with our higher selves. Most of us would agree that somewhere in life, music played a vital role in changing us for the better. The psalms say that someday we will sit around a table with our enemies and make a perfect peace. Those with faith are joyous and grateful for this promise. Music and art are a call for a harmonic renewal of peace and faith. The more music and art we create, the more chances we will have to understand each other.
