Interview:

The spiritual significance of music is the inner strength that enlightens the core of the individual. The strong unity formed by beliefs, dedication, and passion, forms what you may call the spiritual significance of music. So by posing this question to many people, you would surely get many different answers. I do believe that music must carry a spiritual significance to show that music has a thinking and living core. Like the flaming core of magma inside a volcano. With Black Flame we carry an extreme message that brings subjects like death, damnation, ritual, and occultism. So it would be ridiculous for us to not “dress” our music with a spiritual significance. People always think about those subjects as being subjects of dissolution, disintegration, and at least, nothingness. We never saw it in that way, we always thought that music may be useless and with no meaning. However, those are strong subjects, extreme and particular, they must carry a true meaning and of course some sense. To close the circle: if music has no spiritual significance, then music cannot have sense and meaning.

“The spiritual significance of music is the inner strength that enlightens the core of the individual.”
